Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, held a job fair in the Nantong Human Resources Building on Sept 17.

During the fair, 75 enterprises provided more than 1,500 jobs in sectors such as manufacturing, science and technology, business logistics, retail and catering, and cultural tourism.

The event was part of efforts by local authorities to tackle manpower difficulties faced by enterprises and boost employment in the district.

More than 1,000 jobseekers participated in the job fair, and 360 of them secured employment intention with enterprises, according to official statistics.

Chongchuan will next strengthen cooperation with industrial parks, enterprises, universities and industry associations and hold more online and offline job affairs.
