Chongchuan works to prop up digital culture industry
The 2022 Nantong Digital Culture Industry Summit was held in Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China’s Jiangsu province, on Aug 26, local media reported.
The conference witnessed the inking of 22 projects that are set to be established in Chongchuan, with an aggregate investment value of 1 billion yuan ($144.56 million).
The summit also witnessed the inauguration of the Nantong Digital Culture Industrial Park. The park, covering more than 20,000 square meters, is designed to be a hub for the digital culture industry in Nantong.
The Gangzha Economic Development Zone, where the newly established park is located, and Shanghai Shuji Computer Technology Co Ltd also set up an industrial fund worth 100 million yuan to promote digital culture industrial development in Nantong.
Companies that set up operations in the zone will be entitled to incentives including three-year rent subsidies and various awards. Those with independently developed gaming products beginning operations are likely to be granted an award of up to 500,000 yuan.
