Chinese roses, the city flower of Rugao, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, are in full bloom in Shuihui Garden, according to local media reports.

This year, Chinese roses are blooming early and will have a long flowering period.

Shuihui Garden, a national 4A-level scenic area, boasts a Chinese rose garden with 150 varieties of Chinese roses, of which more than 30 varieties are considered rare and ancient. The earliest variety has a history of one thousand years.
