Hai'an – a county-level city administered by Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province – has focused on the high-quality development of major projects amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
On May 13, the Hai'an production plant for automatic equipment – which was invested in by Jiangsu Justech Group – was put into production. The plant includes 19,100 square meters of manufacturing workshops and can accommodate 600 sets of production equipment.
Last year, Justech Group signed a cooperation agreement with the Hai'an Economic and Technological Development Zone. In April this year, upon hearing that the group planned to increase investment, representatives of Hai'an Economic and Technological Development Zone immediately got in contact with the company, presenting a promotional video, briefing materials of ready-to-use plants and incentive policies.
After over 10 rounds of negotiations, Justech decided to establish its second production plant in Hai'an Economic and Technological Development Zone.
It took just 15 days from the installation of production equipment to the start of operations.
Justech chose to open the second production plant in Hai'an due to its solid industrial foundation and excellent business environment, especially amid the epidemic, as officials showed genuine concern for enterprises, according to Wei Xiaojun, deputy general manager of Justech Precision Industry Co Ltd.
In addition to attracting more investment, Hai'an also took measures to provide better services for investors, such as establishing one-on-one special working teams to solve difficulties encountered during project construction.
