Nantong residents not advised to visit medium, high-risk areas

The Nantong Center for Disease Control and Prevention has advised the city's residents to avoid visiting COVID-19 medium- and high-risk areas during the upcoming holidays.
High-risk workers, including the staff of centralized isolation facilities, designated hospitals, fever clinics and cold chain facilities, should avoid leaving Nantong during the holidays.
These individuals are required to report to their companies and test negative for the virus within 48 hours before their departure.
People from medium- and high-risk areas are not advised to visit Nantong. Those who must travel to Nantong will need to test negative for the virus within 48 hours before their departure from their respective cities.
University students and teachers as well as employees of local companies leaving for their hometowns are also required to test negative within 48 hours before their departure.
The Nantong Center for Disease Control and Prevention also reminded local residents to wear face masks in public places, ventilate their rooms regularly, and practice social distancing.
