First laid out in 1913, Tangzha Park – currently located in the Chongchuan district of Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – was the largest park at the time and in 1953, it was relocated and re-established.
So important was it regarded, that it became part of an industrial relic protection and utilization program launched by the Nantong municipal government.
Its renaissance at its new site has proven to be a big success. Each year, the chrysanthemum exhibition held in Tangzha Park always draws a large number of flower enthusiasts.
