Construction recently started on several major urban construction projects in Hai'an, Nantong, including the renovation and extension of 10 roads. The projects are expected to cost 250 million yuan ($35.17 million) in total.

Yanggang Road will be extended south 420 meters, and the road's width will be increased to 9.5 m. Construction started on May 13 and will be completed by the end of September, according to Wang Bin, manager of the project.

In addition to Yanggang Road, renovation and extension will also be carried out on Nanhai Avenue, Wangchi West Road, Shuguan Road, Zhadong Road, Anping Road, and more. 

Five of the 10 roads have already begun renovations, with the remainder to begin in the near future.
