Nantong’s Tongzou district has become one of China’s 65 water conserving counties and districts, according to a list issued by the Ministry of Water Resources on March 13.

In recent years, Tongzhou district has made great efforts to build the district into a water conserving community.

The government has taken a leading role in water conserving projects by encouraging the participation of all residents.

Meanwhile, the government has also tried hard to innovate water-saving management mechanism and improve the management ways.

Besides, the government will further improve water use efficiency so as to back up the transformation of economic development modes.
