Four recommended routes for exploring winter Nantong
The Jiangsu Provincial Tourism Bureau recently recommended four routes for tourists to explore winter Nantong.
1. Two-day trip in Hai'an
This is a trip that combines culture with natural scenery.
The first day, tourists may take a visit to the Seven Battles and Seven Victories Museum and Han Guojun’s former residence. The museum is one of the famous “red tourism” (revolutionary-themed tourism) attractions in China. Han Guojun was a patriotic officer born in the late Qing dynasty (1644-1911).
On the next day, the Longhu Lake Mountain Villa is a good choice. Visitors can enjoy the villa’s agritainment, eating the local food and experiencing the traditional customs of the Chinese New Year.

2. The 5th Qutang mutton food festival
The 5th Qutang mutton food festival opened at Qutang town in Hai’an, Nantong on Dec 15, 2018. The event will last for a month. Visitors can enjoy what is reputed to be some of the tastiest mutton in the region.
