The exhibition brings together 58 pieces (sets), including reproductions of cloisonne masterpieces from the Yuan (1271-1368), Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, alongside original works by contemporary masters of arts and crafts.
Tracing the craft's origins from the ancient Silk Road, distinctive courtly aesthetics, and contemporary revival, the exhibition offers a glimpse into the enduring artistry and unique techniques of cloisonne, a nationally recognized intangible cultural heritage of China.
