Fine Wood: Furniture from the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911)

The furniture collection of Prince Kung's Palace Museum, 49 pieces in total and dating to the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911), are making their debut outside Beijing at the Liaoning Provincial Museum.

This is the first thematic exhibition held by the Liaoning Provincial Museum over its 75 years of history. It highlights the selection of materials, craftsmanship and diverse styles of classic Chinese furniture, while contrasting interior décor to showcase the different aesthetic tastes of the two dynasties.
