On 2024 Cultural and Natural Heritage Day (June 8), the exhibition "Artistic Glimpses of Macao: Sketches of Macao’s World Heritage Site" opened at Prince Kung's Palace Museum, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to China and the 19th anniversary of the Historic Centre of Macao being listed as a World Heritage Site on July 15, 2005.

The exhibition features 50 paintings depicting scenes of the Historic Centre of Macao created by Ieng Lai, chairman of the Macao Artists Association, and Tam Chek Wun, president of the Macao Visual Arts Association. The artworks, crafted in either traditional Chinese painting or Western watercolor, showcase the churches, temples, and old streets of Macao's Historic Centre.
