Gold column

In traditional Chinese architectural structures, gold columns (jin zhu) serve to connect and support. They are located inside the eave columns and outside the central axis of the building. Generally, small buildings have only one row of gold columns at the front and back, but often have none at all. Large buildings have one or two rows of gold columns based on their depth dimensions.
