On the morning of March 27, the 2023 Annual Meeting of the Research Committee on the History and Culture of Princely Residences - a subcommittee of the Forbidden City Society - was held at Prince Kung’s Palace Museum.
Feng Nai’en, director and Party secretary of Prince Kung’s Palace Museum; Zhao Guoying, vice president of the Forbidden City Society, deputy director of the Palace Museum; Wang Jing, deputy director of Prince Kung’s Palace Museum; Zhao Peng, secretary of the Forbidden City Society; Sun Qigang, director of the Research Committee on the History and Culture of Princely Residences; Wang Donghui, secretary of the committee, and other members attended the meeting.

In their speeches, Feng Nai’en and Zhao Guoying affirmed the significance of the Research Committee on the History and Culture of Princely Residences, and expressed their aspiration to promote relevant research with a global perspective.

During the meeting, the proposal to establish the Secretariat of the committee in the Collection Research Department of Prince Kung’s Palace Museum was passed. The meeting also reviewed and passed the Regulations of the Research Committee on the History and Culture of Princely Residences of the Forbidden City Society, and discussed the committee’s work plan for the next five years.
