The China Maritime Museum – located in the Lin-gang Special Area in East China's Shanghai city – launched an ongoing exhibition on July 1 that is called the Maritime Prestige of the Great Han Nautical Civilization of the Nanyue Kingdom.

The Nanyue period (204-111 BC), was a kingdom established after the collapse of the Qin Dynasty (221-206 BC).

The 154 pieces of rare unearthed cultural relics attracted hordes of visitors on July 11, which was Maritime Day in China.
