A fascinating and stylish bookstore called Belencre – zi li hang jian in Chinese – opened to great fanfare on Nov 25 in the Lin-gang Special Area, located in East China's Shanghai city.

In the 1,400-square-meter bookstore, visitors can both read books and view some remarkable exhibits.

There are more than 200 ancient artworks showcased in the new facility.

In addition to the exhibition area, there is a reading area, a leisure area, a handmade crafts area, a picture book area and a public activity section. The bookstore provides books for lending, as well as undertakes activities and provides special services.
