Lacquer culture has a history of more than 8,000 years. Qimo Lacquering is one branch of this culture, originated during Qianlong's reign (1736-96) of the Qing Dynasty.

Wen Zihe, a representative inheritor of this intangible cultural heritage, Qimo Lacquering, was born and raised in Jinpu New Area. After graduating from the Xiamen Academy of Arts and Design at Fuzhou University, Wen returned to Jinpu and founded Qimo Studio. She hopes that the spirit and culture of lacquerware can nurture people's lives, bringing inner peace and the beauty of art to those living in the fast-paced modern world.

The studio specializes in offering a variety of lacquer art products, including lacquer jewelry, cultural and creative products, lacquer paintings, and custom lacquer furniture.
