As Chinese Lunar New Year draws near, traditional cuisine graces the table during family get-togethers in many places in China.
Chenggong district in Kunming featured Ba Da Wan, or the eight famed specialty dishes. The cooking methods and flavors of these eight dishes are diverse and rich. The traditional "Eight Big Bowls" serve as the main course, complemented by other dishes and seasonal vegetables.
