As the Chinese Lunar New Year draws near, the 2024 Shanggang Ancient Village Folk Culture and Tourism Festival kicked off in Shanggang village, Mohan town, on Feb 4. People adorned in various ethnic costumes paraded along the main village roads for a vibrant display of colorful traditions. The festivities started with the lively music and rich ethnic dance movements of the Dai ethnic group's performance of "On the Way to the Market."
Each program showcased distinct ethnic characteristics, diverse presentation styles, and captivating content, setting the stage for a culturally rich and exciting event.
