The Fourth Tofu Festival was held recently in Qibuchang community, Chenggong district, Kunming. Qibuchang boasts a tofu history of over 600 years, with many residents still preserving traditional handmade tofu techniques. In 2015, Qibuchang tofu was recognized as a world intangible cultural heritage.
The community is home to more than forty businesses in primary tofu processing and dining.
The 3-day event featured 12 thematic events and welcomed nearly 40,000 visitors. The grand street banquet hosted 850 tables, attracting over 6,800 attendees.
