The first cross-border tourist train from Beijing to Laos, the D887 international passenger train, started operation on Nov 17.
This train departs from Beijing Fengtai Station and travels along the Beijing-Guangzhou and Shanghai-Kunming train lines. It passes through Libo and Anshun in Guizhou province and reached Kunming in Yunnan.
Passengers taking the D887 international train in Kunming will travel along the China-Laos Railway and exit the country via the Mohan Port to Vientiane, Laos. The round trip is expected to take approximately 15 days.

Since the opening of the China-Laos Railway international passenger train, the Mohan Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station has continuously strengthened cooperation with railways, customs and other departments, and improved border inspection and travel inspection to ensure that passengers can take the train safely, orderly and quickly.
