Kong Fook Chooi from Malaysia became the one millionth passenger at Kunming port on Nov 18, marking a remarkable 716 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
The number of inbound and outbound passengers at Kunming has steadily increased. Currently, the daily average number of inbound and outbound passengers at Kunming remains at around 5,000 people.
In the third quarter, the flow of inbound and outbound personnel exceeded 370,000, showing a 31percent increase compared to the second quarter. The continuous growth in the flow of inbound and outbound personnel indicates the increasing vitality of the port.
