Kunming has kicked off the Creative Yunnan Cultural Industry Expo scheduled from October 20 to 24, featuring heritage inheritors from various parts of Yunnan province showcasing their intangible cultural heritage creations.
Here visitors can immerse themselves in the enchanting intangible heritage traditions of Yunnan, including fortune cats made of pottery, craftsmanship of silver inlaying on black copper, and inscription rubbings. These experiences provided a deeper understanding of the local culture and way of life.
During the expo, three students had the chance to visit and explore the world of intangible heritage techniques in collaboration with the inheritors. Come along with these young reporters as they take you on a visual journey through the expo!
