Influenced by her Chinese grandfather from an early age, Phayakham pursued her education at Yunnan University and, after graduating with outstanding achievements, has since rooted herself in Yunnan, where she became a Thai language teacher at Yunnan University of Finance and Economics. By chance, she met and fell in love with her husband while studying traditional Chinese culture.
