On October 3rd, railway traffic remained consistently high, with a strong demand for travel and people visiting relatives. China Railway Kunming Group planned to operate 220 pairs of passenger trains, with additional trains added to the Kunming-Baoshan and Kunming-Honghe lines.

During the holiday period, China Railway Kunming Group continued to optimize its transport organization by utilizing its capacity potential and analyzing the extensive data from the railway's ticketing system. They closely monitored passenger ticketing and travel demands, promptly increasing train services to popular directions and sections, and enhancing the frequency of high-speed and regular passenger trains bound for Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen from Kunming. Additionally, more tourist-focused passenger trains were scheduled, connecting Kunming with popular destinations such as Dali, Lijiang, Baoshan, Honghe, and Qujing.

This year, many passengers chose to travel on the China-Laos railway passenger trains to visit Yunnan's Pu'er and Xishuangbanna regions and to even explore Laos. Responding to the travel demand, China Railway Kunming Group implemented a "one-day, one-schedule" system to accurately provide transportation services.

Since the launch of the international passenger trains on the China-Laos railway, more than 70,000 passengers from over 60 countries and regions have traveled cross-border, via the railway, as of October 3rd.
