On Sept 25, the Mohan-Boten Cooperation Zone held a ceremony to mark the launch of key projects for September. A total of 33 key projects were initiated, with an estimated total investment of 6.83 billion yuan.
Located in Mohan town on China’s border with Laos, the zone aims to promote trade, economic and industrial cooperation between China and Laos.
These projects primarily cover sectors such as industrial infrastructure construction, industrial processing, transportation, water resources, environmental protection, and governance.
The implementation of these projects will play a pivotal role in enhancing Mohan town infrastructure, developing border industrial parks, expanding the economic scale of the region, optimizing the business environment, and improving the living conditions of residents. This initiative will provide significant support for the high-quality development of Mohan as an international port city.
