Hotels, malls, restaurants in Kunming witness return of consumers in droves
Restaurants, hotels and shopping malls across the city have seen the hustle and bustle of crowds return during the New Year holiday amid China's optimization of COVID-19 control measures.
Kunming received a total of 2.6661 million tourists, a year-on-year increase of 107.63 percent during the three days from Saturday to Monday,
The main scenic spots received a total of 121,500 tourists, a year-on-year increase of 80.49 percent.
In the first two days of the New Year holiday, many restaurants, especially large-scale ones, have seen long queues.
