Given its advantageous location, Kunming will launch the 6th Yunnan International Talent Exchange Conference on Nov 12. The week-long event aims to boost international talents' cooperation.
There will be 13 themed activities for the 3,000 participants on site and 10,000 online. The meeting is committed to building a talent hub across South Asia and Southeast Asia.
It is expected that with the high-level events to attract talents and investments, over a hundred high end talents and youth scientists will be introduced, and mechanisms for cooperation and technology sharing will be established with 15 countries and regions.
During the meeting, Chinese academicians and well-known entrepreneurs at home and abroad will get together in forums, share insights on Yunnan’s development in domains including low-carbon development, digital economy and entrepreneurship.
Starting from 2016, the event has held five sessions, and has become Yunnan’s important platform for promoting communications with international talents and technological and innovation cooperation.
