The construction of the China (Kunming) Intellectual Property Protection Center has been completed in Kunming’s Guandu district, the first in Yunnan province.
It is expected to facilitate service with Kunming’s pilot-free trade zone and promote the smooth construction of a new intellectual property service system.
In the future, the protection center will focus on the two major industries of biological products and equipment manufacturing, and carry out "one-stop" intellectual property public services such as rapid patent pre-examination, rapid right confirmation, and coordinated protection.
Over the years, Guandu has continued to attract the attention and investments in intellectual property protection. It has seen an increase in patents, trademark applications, and authorizations in Yunnan.
