Anning, a city in Yunnan province, provided free health check-ups for over 138,329 of its residents in 2021.
The exams were made available to both urban and rural residents. By Nov 2021, 138,329 people had gotten a check-up and obtained an electronic version of their medical history.
"I am 45 years old this year, but I rarely get check-ups because of the time and money it takes. This free medical examination has several exam items. It has benefited us a lot,” said villager Zhang Xingrong.
