A Yunnan ethnic village presents its multiethnic culture and biodiversity with brilliant light and performance shows.
"Light shows and performances have been staged to showcase the characteristics of each ethnic group. I felt the charm of these cultures,” a tourist from Sichuan province said.
The performances use lights, multimedia and stage sets to create an immersive and vivid reproduction of typical and unique scenes showcasing different ethnical culture groups.
Local authorities said night tourism can give tourists more time to enjoy their trips, enrich their experience, and shape the scenic spot in a more youthful, technical and fun way.
The village was built and opened in February 1992. It showcases the architectural art, cultural customs, and living customs of the 25 ethnic minorities in Yunnan. After nearly 30 years of development, it has become a must-see place for tourists who visit Yunnan.
The village's food and commercial streets provide tourists with specialties made by Yunnan’s ethnic minorities.
