The Overseas Education College of Jiangsu University hosted the 2024 Spring Festival Gala to get international students in the spirit of the upcoming Chinese New Year on Jan 22.

Students from various countries gave song and dance performances to welcome the New Year.

The event also featured hands-on activities where students, guided by teachers, engaged in traditional activities such as making dumplings, writing Spring Festival couplets, and crafting paper-cut decorations.

Cai Yingfeng, vice-principal of Jiangsu University, said that the event not only allowed participants to appreciate the beauty of Chinese culture and understand traditional customs but also made the international students feel welcomed in a faraway land.
