Jiangsu University opens annual international culture festival

Jiangsu University kicked off the annual International Culture Festival in Zhenjiang on May 15, attracting several thousand students from 27 countries and regions to show off their folk customs, artworks, and local specialties.
Yan Xiaohong, principal of the school, encouraged students and teachers to take part in international exchanges in the post-pandemic era. Diplomats from Ghana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe also recognized the school's efforts in cultivating African students and expressed eagerness to establish more cooperative ties with the school in industries, education, trade, and business.
An exhibition showcasing 60 works of photography by international students from 40 countries opened that same day. The photos depicted their lives in China.
The international culture festival has been held at the school for 11 years and has become a platform for students from different cultural backgrounds to make friends and enjoy campus life.
