A three-day special market for peaches concluded on July 19 on the Old Street of Zhangjiagang. As part of the city's "harvest festival" series of events, the market gathered over 30 stalls showcasing and selling Fenghuang honey peaches and other high-quality local agricultural products.
The aroma of peaches filled the air at the venue, where residents could not only taste and purchase freshly picked Fenghuang honey peaches but also experience peach-themed delicacies, cultural and creative handmade products, music parties, and the "peach king challenge" event.
Meanwhile, the online live broadcast also gained traction, with hundreds of boxes of peaches sold, thereby expanding sales channels.
Fenghuang honey peaches have a long history and are recognized as a national geographic indication agricultural product.
This event aimed to build a production and sales platform through the market, enabling residents to purchase high-quality agricultural products locally while linking to the nighttime economy to create a new scene for the integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism.
