The National Conference on High-Quality Development of Characteristic Flavored Food Industry and Taizhou Health Food Industry Promotion Conference was held in Xinghua, a county-level city administered by Taizhou, Jiangsu province, from Nov 11 to 12.
Shen Chi, executive vice-president of the China National Food Industry Association (CNFIA), said that Xinghua, as a famous land rich of fish agricultural and food resources, established a strategic cooperation relationship with the CNFIA in 2018 and his association will further deepen cooperation with the city, creating a Xinghua practice for the high-quality development of regional characteristic food industry clusters.
Shao Jianfeng, mayor of Xinghua, said that in recent years, Xinghua has focused on strengthening its unique characteristics, amplifying its advantages, and promoting green, digital, and brand development in the food industry.
During the event, attendees watched the promotional video for the development of Taizhou's health food industry, gaining more understanding of Taizhou's industrial advantages and development opportunities.

The Taizhou Health Food Industry Chain Chamber of Commerce and the Taizhou Health Food Industry Alliance were also unveiled.
A centralized signing ceremony for health industry projects set to settle in Taizhou was also held.
A special team serving the full-process development of the region's health food industry, jointly established by the CNFIA and Xinghua's government, was also launched.
