Wudeli Group Xinghua Flour Co Ltd, in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone – located in Xinghua city, in East China's Jiangsu province – says it is continuing to grow.
It now has the capacity to process 7,000 metric tons of wheat per day after its second phase project started operating, said General Manager Ruan Hongxian.
In 2009, Wudeli Flour Mill Group Corp, a private company specializing in large-scale flour processing, decided to start its business in Xinghua.
Subsequently, the Xinghua company invested 1 billion yuan ($138 million) in 2020 to begin construction of phase two.
After the expansion, the group said its products, competitiveness and economic benefits had been improved by utilizing information technology and intelligence.
One prime example is the adoption of a high-rack warehouse, which boasts the advantages of a small footprint, good ventilation for food and a fast loading speed.
At present, the company's annual revenue can hit 5.5 billion yuan.
Looking ahead, the group plans to upgrade and transform the equipment in the old plant to enable the product quality to keep up with the pace of the new one – ensuring the longstanding competitiveness of the enterprise.
