Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province organized a Taizhou Day series of events that were held on April 23 in Jiangnan University – located in Wuxi city, also in Jiangsu – to attract young folks for entrepreneurship and employment.
The program, part of a major initiative by the Taizhou municipal government, highlighted the city's industries and many opportunities to create an appealing talent ecosystem.
During the proceedings, the new Taizhou Xinghua Wuxi Innovation Center was inaugurated, with Academician Jin Zhengyu of the Chinese Academy of Engineering delivering a keynote speech.
Liu Xia, vice-mayor of Taizhou, presented Jin with an appointment letter for him to be a consultant for the development of Taizhou's health industry. Taizhou's talent policies were also promoted and 12 cooperation projects were signed.
The event also included the unveiling ceremony for talent recruitment and intelligence workstations and for a food industry graduate education and practice base.
Additionally, the Taizhou Love Talent campus jobs fair was held at Jiangnan University, with 55 enterprises offering a total of 896 positions. Among these, 16 top food companies such as Anjoy Foods Group and Kerisom offered 212 high-quality jobs.
