The Lincheng sub-district in Xinghua city – in East China's Jiangsu province – held a consultative conference on Jan 30, with 85 representatives attending.
Reports on completion of public projects for 2023 and candidate projects for livelihood projects for 2024 were unveiled at the session.
A vote was taken during the conference to decide on projects for 2024.
The Xinghua Economic Development Zone is situated in the Lincheng sub-district and Wang Yong, director of the management committee of the zone, noted that 2024 marked an important year for the zone's three-year action plan.
Guided by the goal of "three years of decisive battle, doubling output value, dual wheel drive and striving for advancement", all local departments should act to achieve a new era of high-quality development, Wang added.
Wang also suggested that Lincheng sub-district should take Party theories as the fundamental principle for conducting all work, promote a high-quality standard of living and adhere to joint efforts for development.
