Jiangsu Suolong Fire Science and Technology Co Ltd, a leading manufacturer of firefighting foam, recently received the first national environmental performance certification certificate for water-based fire extinguishing agents.
It is based in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone in Xinghua city, East China's Jiangsu province.
The group was given this recognition by the Tianjin Fire Science and Technology Research Institute at the Ministry of Emergency Management.
The environmental performance certification project for water-based fire extinguishing agents covers performance evaluation indicators for PFOS content, PFOA content, acute toxicity of aquatic organisms and rapid biodegradability.
Through targeted and precise identification of PFOS and PFOA content in water-based fire extinguishing agent products, their biodegradation and toxicity performance can be evaluated quickly and accurately.
This aims to boost the green development of fire extinguishing agent products towards safety and environmental protection.
