The Green and Health Food Industry Alliance, located in Xinghua city – administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province – recently held a series of activities designed to boost investment and business.
"The green and healthy food industry is advantageous in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone and is also a promising industry for the future," senior zone official Wang Yong told the opening ceremony on July 31.
"The alliance is now home to 102 food enterprises since its establishment in May 2022," Wang added.
During the opening ceremony, a number of food manufacturers and their products were recommended. Moreover, Jiangsu Haozailai E-commerce Co Ltd signed a cooperative agreement with the alliance.
In the wake of the ceremony, 14 food enterprises from the alliance – involved in seasonings, prefabricated dishes and functional foods – will conduct on-site exhibitions and sales at Wuyue Plaza in the city for three consecutive days, showing their products and giving details about their companies.
The city's bureau of human resources and social security will also organize a night market recruitment fair for the alliance, in a bid to help resident enterprises hire high-quality personnel.
In recent years, the green and health food manufacturers in Xinghua have continued to innovate their products – improving product quality – resulting in producing many value-added products such as seasonings, prefabricated dishes and sideline foods.
