A signing ceremony for five projects was held on May 31 in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone in Xinghua, which is administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province.
They included a 100-million-yuan ($14.08-million) food purifier production project invested in by Aiweila Environmental Technology Co Ltd; a 200-million-yuan energy drink production project invested in by Mengzhixiang Biotechnology (Jiangsu) Co Ltd; a 100-million-yuan hairy crab deep processing project invested in by Xiefeng (Jiangsu) Agricultural Technology Co Ltd; a 110-million-yuan automatic pastry production project; and a 110-million-yuan special wire manufacturing project.

Wang Yong, an official of the zone, said that the signing ceremony included both manufacturing projects and food projects, which align with the zone’s industrial development positioning.
The zone will continue to provide enterprises with comprehensive services, added Wang.
