On Oct 25, a seminar focused on the high-quality development of counties and districts was held in Beijing, where the Yicheng Economy Consulting Center (Yicheng Think Tank) announced a report showcasing Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone's leadership in high-quality development.

Based on the economic data for 2023, the report ranked Taizhou Port EDZ fifth among over 2,100 provincial development zones nationwide, underscoring its achievements in high-quality development.
In 2023, Taizhou Port EDZ's gross regional product reached 11.46 billion yuan ($1.61 billion), an increase of 11.5 percent. The total industrial output value of enterprises above designated size amounted to 34.23 billion yuan, growing by 19.1 percent.
