In the first nine months of 2024, companies in the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone demonstrated strong growth, signaling their commitment to high-quality development.
Great Wall Motors' Taizhou production base reported a total output value of 19.16 billion yuan ($2.69 billion) for vehicles and auto parts from January to September. A total of 148,900 complete vehicles were produced, a 7.85-percent increase year-on-year. The company also exported 120,900 cars to 62 countries and regions.

Susa Foods, a high-tech enterprise specializing in plant-based protein beverages, reported a production value of 611.63 million yuan during the same period, a remarkable 117.5-percent increase from the previous year. The company produced 11.49 million cases of coconut water in the first nine months, with an annual projection of 15.32 million cases, surpassing last year's output by 335.53 percent. Additionally, 5.45 million cases of coconut milk were produced, with an annual forecast of 7.27 million cases, exceeding the previous year by 21 percent.

Taizhou Yourun Electronic Technology, a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D and manufacturing of integrated circuits and semiconductor lead frames, is actively pursuing digital transformation. It achieved an output value of 419.92 million yuan from January to September 2024, a 44.96-percent year-on-year growth.
