Jiangsu Baining Yingchuang Medical Technology Co Ltd – located in the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – has received the green light to establish the Jiangsu Provincial Engineering and Technology Research Center for minimally invasive surgical devices.
That's according to a recent announcement by the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission.
Founded in 2018, the company is a leading innovator in the medical technology field and is equipped with cutting-edge facilities – including clean rooms, testing centers and automated processing units.
It focuses on developing advanced medical devices, such as intraoperative nerve monitoring systems, biopsy tools and medical sutures. As a result, it's accumulated over 110 patents globally, along with five software copyrights, 24 registered trademarks and 24 medical device certifications for Class II and Class III products.
What's more, Baining Yingchuang has earned several accolades – including being recognized as a national-level "little giant" enterprise and a provincial-level unicorn firm.
As part of its next phase, plans are for the company to focus on strengthening research in core technologies to enhance its capacity for independent innovation.
It's expected that this initiative will drive the growth of strategic emerging industries and provide fresh momentum for industrial development, contributing to Taizhou's push for high-quality growth in the technology sector.
