In a bid to enhance collaboration and explore new investment opportunities, officials from the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone – located in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – recently embarked on a three-day visit to Zibo city.
Led by Wang Xiaojin – deputy secretary of the Party working committee of the Taizhou Port EDZ – the delegation to Zibo in East China's Shandong province aimed to deepen their understanding of various industries there and to exchange ideas on its industrial transformation and development.
During their tour, the group delved into Zibo's renowned ceramics industry, learning about its evolution and innovative practices.
Officials said they were particularly impressed by the collaborative efforts between companies and research institutions, which resulted in the development of new materials and the expansion of product applications.
In addition to ceramics, the delegation also explored Zibo's food manufacturing sector, visiting facilities and engaging in discussions with industry leaders. They extended invitations to potential investors, highlighting the advantages of the Taizhou Port EDZ as an ideal destination for business growth and development.
Furthermore, the delegation paid a visit to the Zibo Mingfa Fortune Center project – developed by the Mingfa Group – which is set to redefine the skyline of Shandong province with its towering 55-floor super high-rise building.
There, they were impressed by its commercial success and positive impact on the local community and environment.
