Construction is ramping up on the giant site of the Taizhou Zhiche Science and Technology City project – a key smart technology city project – located in the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone, as tower cranes dominate the skyline and the constant thrum of machinery fills the air.
The Taizhou Port EDZ is located in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province and the project – run by Shanghai Zhongjiang Technology Development Co Ltd – boasts a first-phase investment of 515 million yuan ($71.26 million) and a sprawling construction area of 110,000 square meters.
Designed to be a hub for electronics information, new energy vehicle components and high-end equipment manufacturing, the project is said to be set to revolutionize the region's technological landscape.
A total of 19 factory buildings are slated for construction, with six already in full swing in the first phase, aiming for completion by the year's end.
On completion, this ambitious endeavor is expected to usher in a new era of innovation and economic growth in the region, positioning it as a leader in the rapidly evolving field of smart technology.
