The Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Market Supervision recently revealed a list of those that are due to get a digital quality upgrade of management, with the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone – located in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – making the cut.
The initiative aims to integrate quality management with digital technology, paving the way for smarter operations across various industries.
In total, 22 companies, two industry supply chains and two industrial parks were selected in the province.
The Taizhou Port EDZ stood out for its proactive approach in helping businesses to adopt digital quality management, promoting the convergence of the digital economy with advanced manufacturing.
The zone's efforts focus on incorporating various production elements into digital quality management – driving innovation and development in sectors such as new energy vehicles, functional foods and intelligent connected vehicles.
Its achievements include being recognized as a national intellectual property pilot park and a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
The selection is said to underscore Taizhou Port EDZ's commitment to fostering a great environment for digital transformation and quality improvements, positioning itself as a leader in the digital economy landscape.
