The head of the Taizhou Medical High Tech Zone, Ding Zhiqiang, recently visited the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone – located in the medical zone in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – on a fact-finding mission, to assess key resident businesses and major projects there.
The aim was to respond to their needs, provide support in overcoming challenges and to encourage fast-track progress in construction and production for a robust start to the first quarter.

During his visit to resident manufacturer Susa Food Co Ltd's plant-based protein beverage operations, Ding examined its research and development and production plans. He called on the company to capitalize on its product strengths, seize growth opportunities and contribute to the region's high-quality economic development.
Elsewhere, at the Taizhou Automotive Technology Industrial Park, Ding scrutinized its advances and said it was imperative for the park to attract high-quality projects while quickly resolving any outstanding issues that were hindering progress.
In addition, Ding stressed the importance of efficient coordination for both development and safety in the industrial park.
He highlighted specific areas – including mechanical processing, the metallurgical trade, dust explosion risks, construction and firefighting – where challenges should be addressed.
