The Intellectual Property Office of Jiangsu Province recently announced the list of designated intellectual property information public service outlets for the current year – with the Taizhou Intellectual Property Protection Center joining their ranks.
Located in Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province, it was the only public service organization selected in the city.
"The intellectual property information public service outlet is an important component of the IP public service system," said Ye Ping, director of the Taizhou Intellectual Property Protection Center.
Since it began operating in December last year, the center has been promoting various IP public information services for innovation and entrepreneurship entities and the general public.
It is providing a wide range of services – including rapid patent application reviews, assistance in protecting rights, public welfare training and policy promotion – assisting enterprises in industrial innovation and development.
To date, the center has held six rounds of patent pre-examination training tours throughout the city, benefiting over 1,800 trainees.
It has also undertaken a municipal patent navigation service base project – completing a patent navigation report for the auto gear industry and the food protein purification industry.
