A project being operated by manufacturer Jiangsu Tailong Decelerator Machinery, located in Taixing High-tech Zone in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province, recently won the third prize of the Jiangsu Science and Technology Award.
The project is developing an implementation method and intelligent operations and maintenance technology for the low vibration, long life and high reliability of high-power density planetary gears transmissions.
The company's project team has conducted systematic and in-depth research on vibration suppression, weight reduction, wear reduction and intelligent operation and maintenance and is said to have achieved innovative technological achievements.
This has in turn boosted the international competitiveness of China's high-performance ultra large power gears devices.
The highest award in the field of science and technology in Jiangsu, the prize mainly recognizes sci-tech projects that have achieved significant economic or social benefits in areas such as technological invention, technological development and major engineering construction.
In recent years, the Taixing High-tech Zone has accelerated the implementation of a number of breakthroughs and leading reform measures. They've been in such key areas as developing business enterprise innovation entities, improving the quality of major science and technology innovation platforms and optimizing the innovation ecosystem.
